Let's fly to Kiehl's

Skin type detected: Oily, blemish prone skin. (Sensitive skin)

Annyeong! Happy New Year 2014 peeps! How's life so far? Hope you have a great year ahead! So, today I am going to do a review for Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser by Kiehl's. If anyone of you happen to drop by my blog, most probably you will know that I have acne prone skin, oily + sensitive skin, in short very troublesome skin condition that no one wish for.

I know it is very irritating to find a cleanser which able to suit this skin-type and it is also extremely high maintenance, le sigh~~ but thanks to Kiehl's, I can now depend on it  because I am using this right now and all  that I could think of to describe this cleanser would be, BY FAR BY GOOD, okay I mean SO FAR SO GOOD la harr~~

Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser  is a purifying gel cleanser thoroughly cleans pores and removes traces of dirt, residue and oil which can lead to acne break-outs. Mild cleansing agents are used to formulate a completely oil-free but non-drying preparation. It helps keep skin clear of new acne blemishes.

Some of the main ingredients and the purpose of it:

Cinnamon Bark Extract is taken from the dried bark of cultivated trees and is considered to be of much higher quality than extract derived from leaves. It contains an essential oil that is not only recognized for its soothing effects, but is also known to have antibacterial properties.

Ginger Root Extract provides gingerols that are known to have soothing properties. It also helps to absorb excess oil.

For those individual who suffers from acne prone skin, just a reminder that gel type will be a better choice for you to go for be it a cleanser or a moisturizer, do bear in mind yah. This is my personal opinion that I have come across. Last time I used to try those clay type cleanser, undeniably they can "suckout" each drip drop of oils from your pores and face but to tell the truth, they will worsen the condition of your skin especially when your skin produce more oil due to over-dryness resulted from clay cleanser and clay cleanser is suitable for oily skin BUT NOT oily+ acne prone skin, they are totally two different skin conditions that most individual make a mistake on.

Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser comes with an open cap design.

The blue watery gel type cleanser!

Use twice daily, wet your face, work product into a lather and massage onto your face gently avoiding the eyes and rinse well. I find another great way is to use a sponge*like the one showed on the left*! Pour your cleanser on the sponge and lather it with water, clean your face using the sponge in a circular motion, the result is beyond what you can think of! Try it out!

So far, I really in love with this cleanser, for it leaves your face feeling fresh, cooling and uber comfy! You do not experience some unbearable dyness due to over-cleansing!
**Cool Kiehl’s Fact:  Believe it or not, this cleanser can also be used for post-shave treatment to soothe skin and prevent razor discomfort.

So to anyone that have the same skin condition as me, feel free to try it out. It is selling at RM85.00, not available in drugstore but you can go to desired Kiehl's counter to seek for advise and find a cleanser that best suit your skin! Just for your conveniency, I provide you with the store locator for easy finding.

Bloop Bloop Bloop Merry Christmas

Sponsored Post

Anyeonghaseyo!!! Are you ready to view the outcome of the nail strip from     Bloop    ?? Aww, please don't tell me you have forgotten to read both my previous post regarding
Bloop     . *verysad* Anyway, just so you know what I have reviewed earlier, here you go with the link *happyback*

Bloop Nail Polish & Bloop Toe strips

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

As I have already mentioned in my previous post with the guidelines on how you can use a toe strips, I will provide you herewith a shorter guidelines and we will move on to see the end result of the finger nail strips alright?

1. Make sure the nails are clean before using nail it! Use bloop nail polish remover for effective cleaning.
2. Choose the best strip size for each nail.
3. Remove the transparent protective layer.
4. Align & place the nail strip onto the nail. (Note: the rounded end should be facing the cuticle)
5. Rub strip over nail starting from the center working out to the sides.
6. Press the excess nail strip over the edges of the nail.
7. Using a nail file, file off the exces nail strip in a downward motion
8. Smooth nails to remove any excess air bubbles
9. For longer wear, seal with a layer of bloop top coat nail polish.

Personal Verdict:

Below is the design of my nail strip and a mini file to file off the excess edges for the nail strip.

By the way, I have come to realise that this nail strip is way too long and so instead of using one for each finger, I can just fully utilised it with two fingers, awesome isn't it?! Let's see how I do this *terms and condition apply* LOL

So the term and condition is that you must have shorter finger nails in order to do this ya. *smile* As you can see from the above, I will stick back the excess nail strip first before I proceed to the second finger nail.

Previous post I actually just cut off the excess edges before I actually master on how to use this mini file but now I am proudly to say I have master the skill and yes, nail file can do a wonderful job. All you have to do is file the excess edges of the nail strip in a downward motion, and yes I repeat myself, only downward motion in order not to spoil the nail strip.
What I wanna show here is that, do you realise I have only use one of the nail strip and have two pretty nails right away? *yayyy*

I have done it to my four finger nails with just two of it! *awesomeorwhat*

2.5 nail strips for 5 fingers, here I submit you my proof.

You just gotta gotta gotta Nail it with     Bloop

Fualalala I have pretty nails for Merry Christmas!! How about you??

You are my sunshine after the rain~
I have a great time throughout the process and up to the outcome! I seriously think that it is a great invention for the ladies especially when you are busy but you do not want your nails to look as plain as water! It is also abosolutely great for party and fun events!

However, I do hope to see more classy designs that potray a more elegant appearance for the working ladies, because for me, this design I am using here isn't appropriate for them. But afterall it is just my humble opinion which I hope Bloop can improve from! Thanks for reading and will write more next time! =D

If you like the prints for this nail strip you can get it easily HERE or more designs at HERE with just RM38 for 3 packs!

*Extra Tips*
 (NAIL STRIP REMOVAL)
1. Remove the top coat with a nail polish remover.
2. Dip nails into warm water for 5-10 minutes. Then, gently peel off nail strips.
3. Remove any excess glue with bloop nail polish remover.

Review: Bloop Toe Strips

Sponsored Post

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

YOLO!!!
hehe, yea YOLO cause we only live once so I need to try the thing I want to try!! SO! I believe most of you have heard of nail strips, but what about toe strips? some yes some maybe no? Now I just wanna show you how toe strips can make our life easier and you can D.I.Y. without having to visit nail salon and thus it is really less time consuming, reduce cost and you can easy-peasyly get your "toe art" done nicely! Nail Art Expert Wannabe? Yes you can, with BLOOP!

More post on     Bloop    : CLICK HERE

It is my pleasure to be choosen as one of the lucky pink peep to review this product sent by HiShop collaborated with Bloop. Thanks a million! The left is nail strips and the bigger strips on the right are made for toe.

  •  Whether it is a nail strip or a toe strip, the best thing for all these strip is that it is fast and easy to use and it can also be used as a sheer protection to nail from breaking.
  • No chemical & alcohol content will definitely do no harm to your nail because when you apply nail polish for some time and during the removal of nail polish, you tend to realise your nail turn yellowish which resulted in unhealthy looking nail.
  • The strips is super thin and realistic on nail just like those nail art design you made in salon and best thing is it got no drying time!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

How to nail it with bloop?
  • Make sure nails are clean before using nail it! Use nail polish remover for effective cleaning.

  • Choose the best strip size for each nail.
  • Nail strips are all come in standard size and you may find that some are really too big for our toe nails, so just use a pair of scissors and cut out the excess edges in order to fit your nails nicely.

  • Remove transparent protective layer.

  • Allign and place the nail strip on the nail, note that the rounded ends should be facing the cuticle.

  • Rub strip over the nail starting from the center working it out towards the sides.

  • Press the excess nail strip across the edges of the finger nail.
  • The excess one I will just keep it to discover more nail art in the future.
  • Suggested: Using a nail file, file off the excess strip in a downward motion.
  • To file off the strip. Position the file at vertical direction and downward motion to file off the strip gently. Do not do up and down motion as it may spoil the strip due to our nail strip designed was a bit thinner to ensure your nails are breathable.
  • Personally: I just cut the excess off using a scissor according to the shape of my nail and it worked out as fine too!
  • Rub striped nails again to remove any excess bubbles.

  • For a longer lasting wear, apply a layer of bloop top coat nail polish.
  • Final outcome for both my legs! Hooray!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

 Personal Verdict:

  • This is my first time trying out toe strips and it is really a good try and have fun trying it!
  • I will give this concept a 4.7 out of 5.0 because there is only a limited design to choose from and you cannot play with your creativity like what nail polish and nail tools can do by painting the design you like.
  • But on the bright side, I do think that it can really save a lot of time, effort and definitely reduce cost by using a toe strips, and the best part, it wouldn't do harm to your nail because after all it is just a nail sticker and it doesn't contain any alcohol and chemical properties.
  •  It does have a few design you can choose from Bloop nail strips and the best deal you can get from is RM38 for 3 packs thorugh HiShop ---> CLICK HERE ,some designs are really interesting too!

Spiced up with BLOOP

Sponsored Post

Bloop     a brand that has over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry which help woman combat the highly demanding and competitive world.

They have variety of products from head to toes (Eyeshadow palette, lipstick/lipgloss, bb-cream, makeup brushes, blusher, perfume, and the next few one will be nail polishes, nail/toe strips which I am going to review for my next few post right here right now starting herewith Bloop nail polish in shade H182 (citrus colour).

The one I have here is one of their Glam It Up series (13.5ml)
A very nice citrus colour with shimmering effect.

Under the sunlight you can see really nice and glossy effect.
Bloop nail polishes are famous with their three great qualities.

1.) QUICK DRY
2.) ULTRA GLOSSY
3.) LONG LASTING.

Having a polish with an easy-to-use brush is just as important as applying a right foundation
before you put yourself up with proper makeup. A thick and well rounded brush from Bloop
makes polish easier to apply and give you a cleaner look with beautiful shades.

Spreadability:

The painting process was smooth and easy and it dried up really quickly too. You need not have to worry about the thick and gooey texture like some other nail polish has.

Scent:

Same like any other nail polish. But I hope someday some genius will come out with nail polishes which smell as great as perfume though.

Texture:

Neither gooey nor tacky. Very smooth application and texture.

Longevity:

It last really well on my nails.

Ratings:

5.0/5.0 for the application process.
4.5/5.0 for the colour because I prefer some other colours from Bloop collection! They are really nice and pretty like the below one. I will link that down below the picture if you wish to buy one of their series too.
Bloop Nail Polish 3 pcs x 13.5ml (PINK ME UP)                  Bloop Nail Polish 3 pcs x 13.5ml (CRUSH THE CANDY)                    Bloop Nail Polish 3 pcs x 13.5ml (PARTY IS ON)

You can get them with only RM28 for 3pc, so one would be around RM9.30+.

I actually done a small experiment on a few nail polish brands and here are the outcome:

Can you judge which one from which brand? Below here I reveal the answer.

Not going to judge but those brands go like this:
1.) Bloop
2.) Some Korean Brand I bought from Sasa outlet
3.) Revlon
4.) Splassh
5.) Insta-Dri

I hope you having fun reading this post, meanwhile, for all my lovely readers, courtesy to HiShop

Just like any other toner, very clear and watery toner. ( Picture provided below)
