Philips Malaysia has recently organised a contest called "Philips Innovation That Matters to You" which allow all the participants to contribute an idea on how to make Malaysia a better place, a safer cities and a healthy home. Your ideas will not be left unrewarded and everyone who sumbits an idea gets a chance to win. Wanna know more, let's get it on!

Steps to Submit An Idea.
Basically there are two categories which is the "Healthy Home" and  "Safer Cities". Participants are able to submit your ideas for both categories. How to create a healthy home? How to transform Malaysia to be a safer countries/ a safer cities? ask yourself, be logic and creative. Click here to contribute your idea Bear in mind that when you wanna submit an idea, make sure you choose the right category, a healthy home or a safer cities.

Guide No.1: Under the submit section, choose the category(Healthy Home/Safer Cities) that you wanna contribute your idea for.

Guide No.2: Type in your idea in the idea box provided and remember to key in the necessary details, then submit.

So how it works?

Your ideas should be:

• Realistic - it must be practical to implement.
• Sustainable  - it should demonstrate long term viability.
• Benefit many, not a few - the more people it benefits the better your chance of having your idea implemented.

My idea: I hope that Philips & our government can build more Digital Led Billboards @ places where there are traffic lights/highway so that citizen can perceive the contents displayed easily during traffic congestions/while waiting for traffic lights to turn green. The contents that display @ the screen can be all the safety tips to create awareness to our society, it can also be the suspected/most wanted criminal so that citizen can cooperate with our police to provide relevant info & reduce crime rate. Obviously it needs physically, mentally and financially support in order to make this idea a success one. The contents displayed on the screen can be any safety tips for the citizen, the pictures of suspected criminals/offenders in order for the society to cooperate and provide relevant info for our police, not only that, this digital led billboards can also display images of missing child or any missing individual to spread the news to the public as soon as possible and to get help from the public. I believe by doing so, people who intended to commit any crime will think twice before they actually commit it and this will somehow make our city and our country a safer and better place.
